UNBREAKABLE
Who says a Paralympic runner can’t be the fastest human in the world?
Paralympic gold medalist Hunter Woodhall has a bold dream: to become the fastest human ever. That doesn’t just mean breaking a Paralympic record. It means breaking the world record.
UNBREAKABLE is a project in which Hunter Woodhall attempts to break the 400m world record, using Deloitte’s cutting-edge, data-driven training methods, alongside continuously evolving prosthetics.
This is the story of one athlete who refuses to accept separate lanes, and the technology that makes the unbreakable, breakable.
WHO IS HUNTER?
Hunter Woodhall is a Paralympic gold medalist with a bold goal: to be the fastest human on record. Not just in his category, but in the world. To get there, he’s turning himself into a science project. Replacing guesswork with data, and pushing the limits of human performance through advanced, data-driven training and evolving prosthetics. Because this isn’t just about chasing a record. It’s about changing what’s possible in sport.
THE TECH THAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE
It starts with training. Inspired by Formula 1 digital twin technology, Deloitte created ‘The Unbreakable Twin’: a digital twin of Hunter that mirrors his body, biomechanics, and performance in real time. This twin can run thousands of simulations, testing different race strategies, conditions, and prosthetic configurations to find the exact scenario where a world record becomes possible. Turning training from guesswork into precision.
